My journey into pet photography began with my own pets, Jaybird and Artemis the Australian Shepherds, and Alfred and Roy the rescue cats, and my Thoroughbred mare, Rosie.

J&A Pet Photography is named after my two biggest inspirations.

They taught me the value of patience, creativity, and the ability to see the world from a different perspective. This inspired me to combine my love for animals with my skills in photography, resulting in a career that brings joy to both pets and their owners.

With a background in dog behaviour and equine management, I combine technical expertise with a deep love for animals to create stunning, heartfelt images. Whether it's a playful puppy, a dignified senior cat, or any pet in between, I strive to highlight their individual character and the bond they share with their humans.
